Configuration of Diagnostic Tablet
How to first setup your Diagnostic Tablet
This will only change the viewing langage and not the system language. There is a YouTube video is on the desktop that show you how to change the system language (The video is in English).
Steps:
- Choose language
- Press Yes
Now you need to choose the layout of the keyboard. If you want to you can also add a second keyboard.
Steps:
- Choose keypad layout
- Press Yes
- To add a second keyboard press “Add layout” (or press Skip if you do not need a second keyboard)
You need internet connection to continue setting up your device.
Steps:
- Connect to your network
- Press Next
Windows will now check for updates.
Please wait until this is done.
You need to read and accept the licence agreement with Windows.
Steps:
- Read the License Agreement
- Press Accept
Time to name your device.
Steps:
- Give your tablet a name
- Press Next
You now need to choose how you like to set up the device.
Steps:
- Choose “Set up for work or school”
- Press “Next”
Now you sign in to an account. You can choose your Microsoft account or other options.
Steps for signing in to your Microsoft account:
- Choose your work Microsoft account by entering your credentials
- Press Next
- You can now proceed to “9 – Windows localisation”
If you instead need to sign in via other option, you can also do that.
Steps if you need other sign-in options:
- Choose “Sign-in-options”
- Choose “Domain join instead”
- Choose a name
- Create a password
- Confirm password
- Add security questions
- Set up facial recognition if you want. Otherwise press “Skip for now”
No matter if you logged in via your Microsoft account or via other options, this is where you continue. Here you need to choose if you allow Microsoft and apps to use your location.
Steps:
- Choose the wanted Windows localisation settings and settings to find your device
- Press Accept
Almost done, but still some settings you need to do.
Steps:
- Set up wanted diagnostic setting for Microsoft
- Set up wanted setting for inking and typing
- Set up wanted setting for tailored experience with diagnostic data
- Press Accept
Let Windows check for updates.
These are the last steps.
Steps:
- Put in the dongle that came with the device
- Double click on the installation icon on the desktop
Now you are good to go!
